Delivery Information – Yoghurt Cheese

At Yoghurt Cheese, we take great care to deliver your fresh, handmade yoghurt cheese in the best possible condition. Because our products contain dairy and are perishable, proper temperature control during delivery is essential.

Shipping & Delivery Areas

We currently deliver across South Africa via trusted courier partners. Delivery is available to most major cities and towns. Remote areas may take longer.

• Dispatch Time: We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
• Delivery Time: 2–5 business days depending on your location (estimates only – subject to courier schedules and public holidays).

Note: We do not offer same-day or overnight delivery at this stage.

Packaging & Cold Chain

• All jars are securely packed to prevent breakage.
• We use insulated packaging with ice packs or cooling elements to keep your yoghurt cheese cool during transit.
• However, we cannot guarantee the product will remain fully refrigerated throughout the entire journey, especially during hot weather or delays.

Important – Refrigeration Upon Arrival

Your yoghurt cheese must be refrigerated immediately upon delivery. Failure to do so may cause the product to spoil, and we cannot be held responsible for spoilage resulting from delayed collection or incorrect storage.

Delivery Costs

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on:

• Your location
• Order weight and size

We occasionally run free delivery promotions on orders over a certain amount (check the cart or promotions page for current offers).

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can track your parcel directly with the courier.

What Happens If There’s a Problem?

• If your order arrives damaged (broken jars or leaking), spoiled, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• Send clear photos + your order number to info@yoghurtcheese.co.za.
• We will arrange a refund or replacement where appropriate (see our Refund & Returns Policy for full details).

Collection Option (Pretoria Area)

If you prefer, you can collect your order from our premises in Sinoville, Pretoria. Please contact us first to arrange a collection time.

Important Reminders

• Some flavours contain alcohol — these are not suitable for children or pregnant/breastfeeding women.
• All products are gluten-free, but contain dairy.
• Lactose-free versions are available on request (please mention this in the order notes).
